In this post: Calling all nature lovers! Use the books, songs and resources in today’s post to learn about the forest in Spanish.
Everything we do here at Llamitas Spanish is rooted in thematic learning for the early years. That’s because it’s one of the most natural and effective ways for children to learn. This is especially useful for language learners who are better able to grasp new words and concepts through relatable lessons.

The theme we’re exploring today is el bosque – the forest. Whether you’re able to go to a forest nearby, take care of your garden at home or visit the park, nature has so many opportunities for language acquisition and sensory play.
Added to that is the benefit of physical activity. So try as much as possible to make outdoor activities a regular part of your weekly routine. And for those planning a camping trip this summer, you’d definitely want to save this post for later!
