Community Helpers Vocabulary in Spanish

Whether you owe it to Netflix, Disney Plus, or another streaming service, watching TV shows in Spanish is one of the best ways to pick up bits and pieces of vocabulary along the way. That means your kids may already be familiar with some of the words for community helpers in Spanish. Now they can learn even more.

If you read our post on colors, we reviewed the rule which states that all nouns in Spanish have a gender, either masculine or feminine. Masculine words typically end in -o while feminine words end in -a. You’d notice this rule at play in the table below with the exception of the words policía and soldado which is used to refer to both genders.

Los servidores públicos: Spanish Lessons for Kids
