The Preschool Spanish Morning Binder is our beautifully illustrated introductory curriculum that teaches Spanish basics, including:

This is perfect for you if:
- Your child is not ready for a comprehensive/ formal curriculum, but you want a program that gently introduces early years Spanish foundations
- Your child has not mastered Spanish first concepts yet, such as: the alphabet, counting to 20, colors or shapes
- Your child has not started, or is still learning letter recognition
- Your child is learning pen control and tracing letters and can focus on writing for 5 minutes
This is NOT for you if:
- You want a comprehensive Spanish curriculum for your child (See our level 1 curriculum instead)
- Your child has already mastered the Spanish alphabet and other first concepts such as colors, shapes and counting 1-20.
- Your child can confidently write the 27 Spanish letters in uppercase and lowercase
- Your child knows the sounds each letter makes in Spanish

Frequently asked questions
The Morning Binder is for Preschool aged children. It provides a gentle first step before the more formal Level 1 Curriculum.
There are 27 mini units (one for each letter of the Spanish alphabet).
Each unit includes 3-5 pages of printables.
In addition you should complete the four ‘actividades diarias’ (daily activities) every lesson before completing a new unit.
Ch, ll, and rr are NOT official Spanish letters. They are taught as ‘sounds’ in Level 1 as per La Real Academia Española (RAE) guidelines.
Daily activity sheets cover:
- Calendar
- Weather
- Feelings
- Name, age and where you live
Alphabet unit activities include:
- Letter tracing
- Letter recognition
- Counting
- Colors and shapes
If you choose the printed version you do not need a printer. Everything is printed for you.
If you choose digital only (print at home) you will need to print:
- 180 pages (90 sheets)
- 31 flashcards
There is an option to add one more binder at checkout for a sibiling.

The Morning Binder is not a complete early years curriculum, but aims to provide a gentle first step for learning Spanish first concepts.
Level 1 is a comprehensive and complete curriculum. It is more formal in format.
We have a placement quiz you can take to help match your child to the perfect level!
Absolutely! Many families choose to use both simultaneously.
Pro tip: If you choose to do it this way, then pull the letters from the binder that correspond to the letters in each lesson for Level 1. For example, in Level 1 Unit 1 (The Ocean) your child will learn letters Mm, Pp, Bb, Dd. You can pull these letters from the binder too for extra practice!
Other families choose to introduce the binder as a primer (completing it before advancing to Level 1)
