Mari was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but raised her own bilingual children in the United States. She has a wealth of knowledge, and a dear friend and mentor to our founder Corrie Wiik.

Her book provides real talk and extremely helpful advice for parents struggling to balance two cultures, the emotional turmoil, and tips for adapting and coping with the ‘American way’.
