We know choosing the perfect Spanish curriculum for your family is important. Please review our FAQs below and if we don’t answer your question, contact us here. We would love to hear from you!

Yes! If you’re on the fence about which level to pick, try this placement quiz.

We know every child’s language development, fluency level, academic skill set etc is unique. This tool seeks to serve you in placing your child accurately.

At the end of the quiz we will match you to one of our curricula levels. If we don’t think your child fits any of our curricula levels (this could be due to age / fluency level / or a combo of both), we’ll tell you in the results and provide other recommendations.

Yes! Please review our Scope and Sequence and sample lessons by registering for our Freebie Library.

It also includes the index for each level: a comprehensive breakdown of content covered sequentially.

We also have Explainer videos for each level!

No. We are a specialized Spanish language curriculum provider.

Level 4 (upper elementary and advanced Spanish) just launched summer 2025.

We have smaller product launches planned for 2026 including a Canciones ilustradas (Song Book), and we are currently working on the corresponding series of FREE YouTube songs.

Currently we have the coupon code BILINGUAL running for 10% off any level.

Please note, we have been navigating rapid growth in 2025. We cannot guarantee we will be in stock for printed copies throughout our sales

Yes! If you’d like to gift Llamitas Spanish to someone, you can purchase a gift certificate here: https://llamitasspanish.com/gift-certificate/

Using a gift certificate is the best way to give our curriculum as a gift.

(If you purchase a course directly, the digital access will be assigned to you instead of the recipient. Gift certificates allow the recipient to purchase the course and receive access.)

The Preschool Spanish Morning Binder is designed as a gentle introduction to Spanish first concepts. Essentially, a PRIMER to Level 1.

It develops foundational skills such as learning the Spanish alphabet, introducing syllables, counting 1-20, shapes, colors, animals, weather etc.

It is ideal for younger learners who are not quite ready for a formal curriculum, but can manage simple ‘printables’. Many families use both simultaneously.

The binder is less structured and easier to pick up and put down throughout the homeschool week.

Level 1 is a complete and comprehensive curriculum for that offers much greater depth in terms of literacy, math and phonics content.

Counting goes up to 100 and includes basic addition and subtraction with number bonds. There are far more audio comprehensions, games, songs, art appreciation and stories, all taught through 12 thematic units.

Yes. You can jump straight into level 1 if your child is ready for a more formal curriculum.

Please see the previous FAQ about the difference between the two programs.

Our program is very popular amongst native and heritage Spanish speakers because it mirrors a ‘dual language’ experience for Spanish language arts.

We provide bilingual scripts, meaning you can facilitate the lessons in Spanish (read the blue ink), written by a native Spanish speaker. This allows you to provide a totally immersive experience for your child.

Your child may already know the thematic vocabulary but will strengthen foundational skills in phonics, early math, comprehension, and more, through materials rooted in Hispanic art and literature.

Of course not! We have a lot of families learning Spanish alongside their children and we support you every step of the way.

The textbook provides scripted lessons in both English and Spanish. English is in purple, which is what you would read.

We also provide native speaker audio, and pronunciation guides for vocabulary and songs. We even provide transcripts for the longer audios!

Everything is setup to support you so your experience is fun and stress free!

To legally use Llamitas Spanish in a group setting, we provide extended Teacher Licenses.

We often get asked things like: “Am I able to buy more printed book sets in the future for my younger children, when they’re ready to complete the curriculum? Or do I need to buy the whole course all over again?”

Our curricula levels offer lifetime access. You do not need to pay the digital fee again.

We provide ‘hidden links’ in the Course Library, exclusively for our paid students who have already purchased the lifetime digital access fee.

Additional printed sets are always $50 + tax and shipping per level.

This works for both customers who purchased digital only, and want to upgrade to the printed version later, as well as families with younger children who are ready to start the curriculum later and need to buy additional printed sets.

We ship to U.S states and territories.

We can ship internationally but the rate is much higher. For an international shipping quote, please contact info@llamitasspanish.com and provide your full mailing address for an accurate quote.

Yes. The Llamitas Spanish Levels 1-4 and the Morning Binder do not include any religious teachings or biblical content.

Our Holiday and Seasonal Bundle includes some content in the Easter Unit and Christmas Unit that pertains to the religious cultural celebrations in Spanish speaking countries. This is taught in the context of cultural traditions.

We do! We love working with Charter Schools and Homeschool Co-ops.
